The Langham, Jakarta, invites guests to immerse themselves in the elegance of the world’s finest Baccarat crystal with the introduction of its exclusive Baccarat Afternoon Tea at ALICE, the hotel’s signature venue for afternoon delights. Available from 8 November to 12 January 2025, this opulent experience is presented in collaboration with Elite Grahacipta – the official Baccarat distributor in Indonesia – offering a unique blend of luxury and artistry that promises to enchant every guest.
A first-of-its-kind in city, this afternoon tea features elevated French pastries and savoury delights elegantly displayed on a stunning three-tier pastry stand crafted from Baccarat crystal. Guests will savour a multi-course menu complemented by beverages served in iconic Baccarat glassware, including premium caviar prepared tableside for a truly memorable experience.
The afternoon tea experience begins with a refreshing watermelon amuse-bouche, followed by savory delights such as Lobster Tart, Chicken Croquette, and Beef Tartare. The highlight continues with Oscietra Caviar, served with delicate Blinis and a variety of condiments, including sour cream, hard-boiled eggs, lemon wedges, chives, and shallots.
Sweet offerings include a selection of sorbets and cakes, along with a delicious profiterole. Guests will also enjoy a selection of artisan Valrhona chocolates, culminating in a delightful assortment of Petit Fours. The Baccarat Afternoon Tea is available from IDR 598,000++ for 1 person including tea (without caviar), and IDR 1,178,000++ per set for two persons including tea (without caviar) or IDR 1,788,000++ per set for two persons including tea (with caviar). For those looking to elevate their experience, a pairing with Möet & Chandon Imperial is available for IDR 1,400,000++. Additionally, groups of eight or more will enjoy a special Baccarat setup in ALICE’s semi-private dining room for a more exclusive experience.
Baccarat Cocktails
The beverage menu is equally enticing. For those seeking cocktails, the ALICE French Martini offers a refreshing tropical flavor, while the Ispahan Bellini, is a must-try. Non-alcoholic options include the specially crafted mocktails, such as Orange Jasmine, a citrus celebration, and the Ruby Flower, a floral aromatic drink, all served in the iconic Baccarat glassware. Cocktail is priced at IDR 208,000++ and the mocktail is priced at IDR 108,000++.
